The Hellenic American Academy, a close-knit, family-oriented school community, is a private parochial school for grades PreK3 to Grade 5. Our students come from a variety of religious, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and are excited to learn and practice Greek as their second language. Each child grades PreK3 through 5 is closely supported through small, intimate settings that help them develop to their fullest potential. Through language, history and traditions, we welcome students of all backgrounds to experience and appreciate the richness of Hellenism as an integral part of their primary education.
Founded in 1906, the Hellenic American Academy continues to provide a safe and nurturing family environment that challenges students to achieve their highest level of academic performance, stimulate intellectual curiosity, and develop personal growth and responsibility. The Orthodox Christian faith and practicing philanthropy and growth on a personal and academic level are the values on which we base our foundation. At HAA, we focus on the development of the child as a whole with emphasis on education, democracy, philosophy, and excellence as these are the ancient principles that inspire global citizens today. It is precisely our goal to help children flourish as they become the global citizens of the future.
Apart from the daily rigorous academic program comprised of math, science, social studies, language arts, literature, geography, religion, and philosophy, the Hellenic American Academy offers an after school program until 5:30pm and a summer program every year for five to six weeks.
